The CGs were introduced at Blade West 2009 and at that time they were supposed to hit the store after Knob Creek 2009.

That's why I've been telling everybody that the Louisville/Fort Knox area is a great place to live for a BusseKin fan. Knob Creek isn't as social as Blade, but Garth and a few of the other crew members come to town, and they not only bring new stuff (and home-made cheesecake from Amy), but often have things that haven't been in production for a couple years. I don't know if they grind blanks that were set aside when preparing for Knob Creek, but they often bring a few unexpected blades that you just don't see elsewhere -- and they do it twice a year.

As a matter of fact, Knob Creek is the only place that I know full-height tan Dog Father CGs were sold (Fall 2008 -- I bought 3, then traded one to a dog [Peter, from England] who arrived after they'd sold out, but have the other two safely wrapped up and archived). Those tans are much rarer than DF LEs, so don't even ask.

Garth told me that there were a very few Arctic White DFs at the next KC show, but they sold out before the show opened and I've never actually seen one, even in a picture, so there must have been very few of them. The last two shows, Jerry has issued open invitations to shop Thursday-night at the motel [the night before the show opens]. Also, the motel is also where the cheesecakes are -- they don't take them to the range; so, if you want first choice (and cheesecake), come to town a day early -- it's no secret.

Seth got it exactly right. Here's Jerry's BladeForums announcement from the Spring 2010 show:
Trough Raiders!!!! If you Are Headed To Knob Creek...

and here's the one from last Fall:
Attention!!!... HOGs, Dogs, & Rats Who Are Headed To Knob Creek...

It's probably stupid of me to increase the Thursday-night competition, but I feel strongly that the sale should be open and available to all. At one time, there were rumors, but unless you were an "Old School" Hog, you didn't know that it would happen. I really appreciate those invitations; if people know about the sale, they can take advantage of the first-come first-served opportunity, and if they don't, then I've got no reason to feel guilty for doing so.

To pull this thread back toward the Dog Father history title; Private Klink won the competition to name it; take a look at Tom's Dog Father avatar picture.
