Res-c also can't handle the twisting and torque a blade the length of the skizzy would put on the handle What makes you think that?

Just got mine <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> At a quick look,
The handle feels real nice having just a little bit of give with plenty of room for two hands. The balance is good with the COG at the front of the choil. Overall it looks like it can take a lot of punishment <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

It's interesting to me. I had originally thought that a longer (2-hand) piece of res-c would work best with multiple rivets down the length of the shaft (similar to most of the busse micarta handles). You would think this might counter any rotational flexing...but perhaps it doesn't. Thanks for the info Jared!

Would love to see an OD handle / Sage blade combo.

Well, I picked mine up at the PO this morning on my day off, and I hate to say it but I'm a bit disappointed in the quality control. At the beginning of the wrapped handle portion there are white marks. Very noticeable on the logo side not as much on the other side but still some discoloration. ![[Linked Image from farm5.static.flickr.com]](http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4142/4821004649_a15f813d4b.jpg)

Could that be from the cardboard sleeve?
