Well...I went to Cancun for Spring Break back in the '90s....but I've never "crossed" the land border....not once. I thought that was a very odd coincidence. Considering how big Texas is, I guess I'm probably not the only hermit...but surely I'm one of only a few.

MY first experience with Kali was back in oh I guess around 1980. Had to go to the Military hospital out there (from Idaho) for an eval in my knees. Soent three days there. First full day there I decided to take a WALKING tour of off base. Went through the gate, saw two guys walking down the sidewalk holding hands and then stopped to kiss.
I turned around, went back on base and didn't leave the base again until I got on the plane back to Idaho.

Admittedly, I have not yet made it to NYC...I am just not a big city person, but my wife wants us to go very badly. The ONLY reason I want to go is for the statue of liberty....of course, she wants to shop and see all the people / concrete. It doesn't draw me.
