Why does your MIL need shoes on a car, I thought they had tires and wheels?

Funny Guys! Actually the front right tire had steel belts showing and at the same time all 4 tires showed signs of dry rot or what ever you call it. They (before her husband died 6 years ago) got the car in 2002. Same tires that we had replaced tonight.

OK, here is a question for you Electronic toys guys. I have a Nakamichi receiver and tape player. Polk Audio speakers (6 speakers in each 4 ft tall cabinet) and has a "patch cord" from one speaker to the other. Two of the right speakers play the left side and vice versa. Do any of you know how these items stack up to others (got them in Japan in 1988 and they're STILL going strong) but dont use them much now days. Oh I got a Nakamichi cd player also.
