Oh I forgot to say the only lens she has that works now is the 28-55mm that came with the camera set (the 300 was part of it as well, NON-IS).

When people hear Indian Removal they automatically think Cherokee. The Choctaw were the first to move, followed by the Creek and Chickasaw, then the Cherokee, and lastly by the Seminole.
This table shows the removal of the Five Civilized Tribes, not the northern or plains tribes.
Tribe Number of moved Date of Removal Deaths
Choctaw 19,554 [6] + 6000 black slaves 1831–1836 2,000–4,000+ during

try using a pencil eraser to clean the contacts before you do anything else. If it works you just saved that $$

Spent the day on the Blue Ridge Parkway taking pics, I'll try to post some from work tomorrow night. Leaves were beautiful! Man, the year I quite teaching or retire is when a Road Trip is taking place. I am envious.

Q went well. Was there from 10:00 to 19:30. Was beat when I got home! Great turnout, fed about 1300 ppl. Man, that is a lot of people

Jeff, I either didnt know or just forgot that it wasn't ONLY the one tribe involved in the "Death March". I sure hope that we have progressed beyond that now. NO group of people should be subjected to, made to suffer throught something like that JUST because of who they are (unless their Politicians)! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
