Not to bad MB. Thought it was gonna be a bummer weekend, Patty's long lens bit the big one. But Todd told me how to MAYBE get it working again, and YUP. It did so Patty is feeling a lot better.

I found that one, and that is the one I would go for. 28-105. It has a little less range, but in these high-zoom-range lenses it will translate to a sharper image. Lenses that have that wide of a range tend to blur a little when zoomed in and in the mid range areas. It is just the nature of the beast of having so many pieces of glass and all those moving parts. Something is bound to tilt or not be precisely in the right spot to get the best focus.

To compensate for less zoom capabilities, she can always use what we call foot-zoom. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
