I just bought at 91 4x4 F150 back in April, paid $3k for it. Engine had less than 40k on it, transmission was new. Guy that I bought it from pulled a camper with it and overloaded the drivetrain, so it was all replaced. Truck only has 120k on it, and looks pretty good too. I think those years (91-95) were the best F150's made.

The All Hallows Eve is getting crazy. I have heard a couple gun shots tonight. The wife made mention of fireworks but I know better. I am so ready to leave the city and find a place in a quite area.

I do like the bodies on them better than the shovel noses of the late 90's and early 2000's. The 4 wd that I let go by was a first year that had some problems originally and since the guy was a 3 hr one way drive I decided to pass on it. Some day I want a 4 wd but now getting to school, fishing, hunting and camping is more important LOL.

We've had noise complaints from a house that has a 3/4 mile drive, their neighbors are out in the field partying. Proves that you can't get peace and quiet no matter where you go, I guess.

Here where I live, 4wd is just about mandatory if you want to travel in the wintertime. Snow + hills just make things really tough if you don't have it. My drive is steep uphill, and impossible in the snow without 4wd, and sometimes with it if the snow is really deep.

Really, that must be some party. I still would rather be out than in a neighborhood that is going to be like Juarez in the next 5 years. Can we say dos tacos y cerveza por favor.

Sounds like an adventure in itself. We are flat for the most part here and ice is king with little snow. When we do get snow the ice under it makes a 4 wd useless too. I love the idiots that move here from a snow state and think they can drive on it like they did back home-------wrong. ll they do is cause more problems.

I'm out in the sticks too, and still hear my "neighbors" sometimes. Usually isn't loud enough to bother me, or if it is I know it won't last long. Some people are less tolerant than I am, and some neighbors are just plain jerks. I think this particular call is more of the second, after the conversation they had with my deputies.

I don't even TRY if it's icy. Not in these hills LOL.

Well I need to hit the sack, we have 5 little league games tomorrow and the 11 yr olds are nuts at the tournament........fund raisers, ugh!
