What about the sentimental stuff? Who cares about a TV and Lazyboy. Those will get replaced. It is granddad's medals or family portraits with deceased members in them that bother me.


A similar incident happened in 2005. It was three anti-war protesters who hung a banner about the Nagasaki bombing. It was on the 60th anniversary of the bombing. Not sure who did it this time.

It goes without saying, the the REALLY important stuff can NEVER be replaced. I was talking about the normal hhg items, not the sentimental. You're right, everyting else IS replaceable. But Great Great Grandma's shawl that was passed down to each daughter to wear at her wedding, NOTHING can ever replace THAT, emotional and physical loss. When I transferred to Japan someone swiped 8 of 11 knives and just that tore me up and they were not truly anything important.

My heart truly goes out to everyone that lost something.

Seriously folks, I DO believe the country has been led down the Primrose path by the Head Democrat. But No matTer WHAT PARTY you vote on, vote for those that you think WILL do what it is that we want accomplished. The time ON BOTH SIDES of jocking for position on this committee or that committee or I'll vote for your white elephant if you will vote for mine should be ended. THEY should work and vote for what WE THE PEOPLE put them there to do, NOT work to pad their own pockets.
