Kydex is neat, there is just something about leather that can't be matched.

Mb, I remember you talking about that before. When you "get into it" Please be sure and let us know. Will you be using the same business name as your Father used?

Kydex is neat, there is just something about leather that can't be matched. I agree. It's like it's got a soul, almost, where Kydex is just plain.

I don't know that we will be doing it as a business. Maybe some side jobs. But nothing serious.

I still have some horsehide sheaths cut out but I never finished them. That was from this spring as well.

Kydex Plain! Guess You never saw Jared's flaming sheath did ya. Guess not. I just don't like Kydex, I've got a couple of them and while they do the job, I much prefer leather.

If you are going to hand carry or just to "toss in the truck", they're great.

Oh man I have always wanted something out of horsehide. Got any molds for a Sig P225? say yes say yes say yes LOL, horsehide is a neat material too. I had a horsehide belt once upon a time that I loved. Wouldn't mind having a sheath made out of that.

I do not own a sig. Neither does Dad. I think this winter will be a good time to learn more of the craft. Dad like ornate patterns and I am a simple design guy.
He made a holster that looked like it was covered in fish scales a little while back.
