You DO NOT mess with children or old people, basically those who are unable to defend themselves for one reason or another.

What if the old person molested you as a child?

That's different, THEY would be the perp, not the victim.

Hmmmm, one of those questions I hate to answer! But the answer is I'd have gotten my revenge long ago!

Hummm Could be a difficult case although I DO understand the emotions involved. Based upon the assumption it IS true, I would WANT to say charges dropped. BUT in reality at least VERY light sentence depending upon the severity of the beating.

Have you ever or do you have the ability to refuse to take an assignment because it so sickened you?

I haven't ever, but my editors are reasonable people. I am sure if I voiced my disgust, they would find another reporter who is willing to do it.

However, I find most of my stories on my own. It is not the editors' job to find the news. If I do run across something I think is news worthy, but am too disgusted to report on it, i would just send the idea to my editors and ask them to find some one willing to cover it.

Is this clearly understandable?

"The firing process begins with the Target Acquisition Fire Control Unit, which is a 2x optical scope assembly holding a laser range finder and other atmospheric sensors. The laser tells the onboard processor how far away the target or the cover he is hiding behind is. Then the processor adjusts the sight to compensate for the fall of the round over distance and atmospheric conditions. "
