I plan to carry if right above my zipper under the groin flap on my body armor. I saw the cord groove thingy online some where and it looked pretty useful.

The knife snaps in pretty darn securely, but I saw an extra button strap in my scrap box and figured why not give it some extra security.

You MIGHT want to redo the strap and make it so you can remove it if you ever wanted to. Just a nice option in case you ever wanted it without the strap.

One of these days I'm gonna try bending some Kydex. Not a real fan of the stuff, but it does have a certain utility about it.

You MIGHT want to redo the strap and make it removeable. Just a nice option in case you ever wanted it without the strap. It is removable. It is held on by a screw and nut. Look at the backside image.

Plus the strap is easy to use. I made sure I could release it with my thumb so it is one motion to unsheath it.
