I'm pretty sure it was a local edition of the phone book. I was able to go through about 400 pages on a full size phone book on a wood deck. I'll see if I can get some pics, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't anywhere near as bad as the other knife posted.

It's a Busse Combat Hell Razor after a weekend of throwing and other heavy use. Jerry has replaced it. Great warranty, great gentleman.

Sounds like Berserker #4, a good friend of mine. I gave him one of the old heavy saber ground Ranger Rd-9s. I said, "Bet you can't break this one". He lost it.
lol. but sad

Sounds like a poster child for "never admit defeat"!

Impressive, the Busses' really stand behind their products.

Ok, he finally sent me a pic. It's not as bad as he made it sound, but still more damage than anyone else's has shown.

I would consider that excellent performance after hitting concrete tip first. The stress had to be phenominal, and the fast that the picture was taken through a magnifying glass..........

Oh good grief, Ted! Even I have slightly blunted the tip on scrapyards by hitting a nail head or concrete. The knife is not really bent. Just the very tip. I can fix that in 15 seconds!

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Well, he described it as a bent blade at first. I still have not seen the knife, but it looks like it held up very well to his abuse. He has fixed it already, btw.

That, I can believe! Can you even imagine the force required to bend a DM? Back in my younger days I used a jackhammer. Eventully, the bit would mushroom over after breaking through enough granite. But I never bent or broke a bit. SR77 is improved S7 jackhammer bit steel. This damage is so minor, you had to magnify it for us to see it! Great photo BTW.
