Well Randy, I like you and all, but......

My second wife could make it almost right. Sadly, it's one of the few things she COULD cook!

Patty says she can't cook, but she can. She makes the most Killer fish cakes. And tater salad and her Debbie's baked beans are a food group all to themselves. And her Debbie's baked potatoes are killer as well (in the cookbook thread). And I just made some of Phyllis's dressing (Maybe we should rename it SkunkHunter Stuffing!) for our Church Thanks giving dinner last sunday and it ALL was gone in about 15 minutes. I made enough to fill 2 9x13 inch baking pans! and the best part, it is SO simple.

My wife now can really cook a lot of things, and does it well. I brag on her all the time. I believe, really believe, that if we had the money to start her own business, she could make a good living!

But as it is, I get to be the one to try out her new recipies and give her the feedback, and very rarely does she mess up.

The second wife was a breakfast cook at the local state mental hospital. So she could cook anything breakfast. But other than that, she was just ok at most everything else.

Well rats! Got a lady that was assaulted earlier and she is going to come up and an ex-parte order of protection. That means I got to proofread it, email it to the judge (after I wake him up) and wait for him to grant it or just mail them a notice to appear in court.

Sounds like fun! Wish our system was set up like that here. Only magistrates can issue ex-parte here, and they usually make the person come back during business hours to do it. IF they do, it's only good until the next day when a district court judge can review and authorize it until a hearing date within 10 days.

Here we email it to the judge and depending on what is actually said on the paper, he will either issue it or send a notice to appear in court for a hearing. I WISH they would either do it monday-friday at the court or have a clerk come in to handle it. It's always a pain when we do it.
