just heard some bad news.... major dick winters, of easy company, 506th battlion, 101st airborne division, passed away today. made famous from stephen ambrose's book "band of brothers" and of the hbo mini-series of the same name. was a true american hero. rest in peace sir.

Did not get the pics today as I was busy trying to recover from last night, and practice. I did not get home until late tonight. Will try to get pics tomorrow though.

I've gotten around to thinking again, and I think it would be nice to see a scrapyard folder (in my dreams right?). I think the blade design is up to the guys, but the lock and that system should be a titanium framelock (Lionsteel style) or similar, and incorporate an Extrema Ratio RAO style drop through pin to ensure stability. What do you guys think?

Sitting here watching the snow fall, about 5 inches on the ground already and calling for more on and off through the night. I hate the snow!

True enough! They are calling for that later on tonight though, hopefully it won't get bad. I'll have to take my wife to work in the morning and don't like driving on icy roads. Four wheel drive isn't much help on ice.

Nothing but chains or studs are a help on ice, and then it's still slow and easy!
