I personally wouldn't mind hitting Key West, but that's a long 2 day ride from here, and I'd like to spend a couple days wherever we end up at instead of turning around and coming home the next day.

That would be a good trip. How far is Jared from you?

Miami is a good 18 or so hours from here. Not sure exactly, never been that far. Made it to Lake Okechobee once upon a time.

According to Mapquest, it's closer to 12 hours from here to Miami. Not sure how they figure stops and speed though.

I usually beat the times on Mapquest, but that long a drive would need some extra breaks built in. And that's assuming no roadwork or traffic delays as well.

Hehe, it would be sweet to relax in a pool on a lake sipping something cool!

I'd settle for sipping a margarita on a beach somewhere.

I don't have to worry about that. Can't afford it unless I hit the lottery. And if I do, I'll give her half and wish her well LOL.

I'd want to move to Montana or something like that, where I wouldn't have any neighbors within a mile of me. She already told me she wouldn't like that, even if we did travel during the winter.

I told her that's fine, even an old fat bald man can get young women if he's filthy rich!
