Sunny and about 60 here today. Actually wore shorts to and from the gym. Glad it's melting all the snow that's left, but my drive is now a mushy mess.

I've got some water treatment tablets, but need something to treat more than that.

If you use even the most basic of a filter and then treatment tablets you SHOULD be good. When I think back to some of the water we drank in VietNam that we just added tablets to disinfect I am still amazed. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

I used to drink from the trout streams around here when I was fishing. Pristine water, back in the back country where there were no houses or farms, etc. I was fishing one day and doing my usual scoop and sip, went around a curve in the river and came across a dead deer laying in the river. Badly decomposed. I didn't get sick from it, but that was the last scoop and sip I ever did!

Now when I'm hunting or fishing I carry a small pack with bottled water. That's why I'd like to get a Steri-pen, for those situations where I don't have to carry a day's supply of water with me.

Evening guys. How is everyone doing.

I just read where Tom said they were getting snow. we have a dual tomorrow night and a tournament this weekend that is not too far from the area Tom is at. Here in OKC we are looking at maybe some sleet, freezing rain, ice, and an inch of snow. The area we will be traveling to is looking like it will get 3 or so inches but that will be on top of ice more than likely. I hate this weather and traveling. If it is going to snow, do it right.
