The CZ are a great pistol. I have had a DW CBOB (regret getting rid of), a Razor Back in 10mm, and currently have/carry/shoot a DW 2010 Valor. Back a few years ago the DW was a great bargain, but now are getting up there in price where justification for a used Les Baer might be a consideration. The Valor has no MIM, solid built and was limited to 1500 pieces for the full size and 1500 pieces for the CBOB style. Oh yeah, 1500 for each style in black and 1500 for each style in SS. Mine is SS. I carry it in a Nick Mathews IWB holster.

That is a nice setup. I have a P01.

I wish Nick covered a few more models. His holsters look great and are reasonable in price.

I have had several different CZ pistols through the years and like them all after the trigger in DA started to clean up. You are right, NM makes a great product for the price.

Jrod, you will love the Valor. Mine is the full size and I carry it all the time. Now when the summer gets here I wont just because of the attire I wear. I would love to have a CBOB for that reason. Now this is going to sound bad but i have a set of Busse 1911 grips in green but can not find them--I hope they did not get tossed out in the trash along the way. Make sure you break the 1911 in correctly as the Valors are a good tight fitting pistol. Mine has shot everything that i have thrown at it from 230 gr ball, 230 gr hp's (various makes but Hydra Shoks are normal carry), 230 gr rn lead, and 200 gr lswc.

any tricks/tips to breaking it in?, just got my shipping notice

One more thing, I know we aren't supposed to make wtb/wts threads, but I just wanted to mention that my plan for making cutting boards has come to fruition, and if you want more information, please private message me. If anyone with the authority to delete my post feels like I'm overstepping the bounds, please delete it. I figured this was the gray area and I might as well try

Good weather here. Cold, but clear. No snow this weekend. May not be that lucky first of next week though

good luck! I don't have the patience for that myself. My dad has an Old Timer Muskrat that needs rehandled. I'm hoping he does it, or else I'll buy him a new knife!

It's my first time working with knives in any capacity. I decided to dive right in with dual 3/8" Turquoise circle inlays, a full presentation case with an inlayed Turquoise thunderbird in the lid... it'll be interesting to see how it turns out

Nothing like taking it easy to begin with LOL. Good luck, I'd love to see a pic when you're done!
