Worked on my rehandle job today
Got one scale glued on. Other scale will probably go on tomorrow. Still need to shape them and get some 800 and 1000 grit sandpaper and metal polishing compound

There are some on here, like JJ, for example. I'm an experienced machinist, and would have had a really hard time making a bayonet out of a Regulator. Not the actual metal work, but the imagination required to put something together like that.

It's my first job, decided I wanted to get some experience by rehandling a knife, asked my dad if he had any he needed rehandled and he gave me a little Winchester lockback he found a few years back and a piece of Oak. I got to thinking about how I could make it just a little better and thought about a turquoise inlay, as he's from NM. It's turning out nicely. My next plan is to get a Rodent Solution and rehandle that for his B-day, although I'm not sure as to the cost on that one.

And then of course there's Mike (Evolute) and Ted. Both are awesome photographers. Mag is an amazing guitarist. It goes on and on....

Maybe just get a Swamp Warden and do some scales for it. I think it's about the same as the Solution, blade wise.

Or even an Izula....even cheaper and still a great blade.
