I really want to find a DFLE, and I will someday. It doesn't matter to me what color my knives are, but it seems like I've ended up with mostly all black or blk/gry. Except for that DF, that is.

It's just a habit for me anymore. Our uniform at work is blk/grey, so I my shoes are black so I can wear them to work. My belt is black, same reason. My coat, you got it. Black again! Even my t-shirts are usually black or OD.

We're pretty lucky. They had us wearing brown pants and tan shirts for a while. But after the first year they quit buying them. Now most all the dispatchers wear jeans with a department bought brown shirt with the 7 pointed star and the departments name around the badge.
