We have had people's livestock get shot for "city slickers" thinking they were a deer. One Intrepid hunter actually took a donkey to a check station. Is there a difference in taste between the older pigs and youger? I have been told ( I havent ever shot a game animal unless squirrels and rabbits count, but will soon...) that for the meat the younger ones are better? Rob, younger animals of pretty much any kind are more tender than the older ones. I'd much rather eat a yearling deer than an older 8-pointer.

Pigs do a lot of damage around here. Even down in the State Park, where hunting is illegal, they do some hunts there just for the pigs. They're feral here too, no closed season.
