She fixes great barbeque in the slow-cooker. Never would have figured it, but it's great! I heard you can get cheaper cuts of meat and cookem all day long and they turn out good!!! Ok thats it...Im going at lunch to get one. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> Stew beef turns out great in a slow cooker...I make open face sandwiches with stew beef and texas toast...YUM YUM!

I've fixed big chunks of deer roast in one too, that turned out well. Add some potatos, carrots, seasoning...another home run!
