Welcome back Randy!
It'll be a rough night, but I'll try to help you stay awake. I'm pretty good here. Even got a nap in this afternoon.

Well yeah I guess so. She didn't get sick today. Mostly last night I stayed home cause they offered and it was her first night back from the hospital.

And it seems as if taking her off her Diabetes medication HAS stopped the daily nausea/throwing up and diarrhea. Now if we can just keep her diabetes under control with a diet, THAT part may be good to go.

I'm doing pretty good right now, keeping my sugar under 130 most of the time. I'm on 850 mg Metformin, was on 500 but wasn't keeping sugar level down good enough.

My Doc has me on 1000mg twice a day and now he also has me on shots (NOT insulin) it's called Victosa, 1 shot a day, 1.2 something or other. It is like a large magic marker pin that you turn a dial to the correct dosage. Needles are only about a quarter inch long and really thin. Don't feel a thing.

My ex-wife took insulin in a pen like that. Easy to use and keep handy, don't have to worry about carrying a bottle of insulin around. Never heard of Victosa, but if it helps you keep your sugar down then it's good.
I had a bout back in the summer where my sugar got out of control, was running up near 500 and NOTHING I did kept it in check. Took us about a month to get it back down some, and about 3 months to stabilize at near-normal levels.
I was awfully close to being on insulin, and it scared me to death.
