I usually go to the gym on base where I work during lunch or after work. It is nice, since the base is nothing but housing except my office and the times I go all the men are at work on other bases. That leaves the weight room empty save the occasional house wife.

That's one reason I use a staff, my back hurts sometimes when I walk plus if I walk to fast it's as if my foot goes partly to sleep on me. OH and I use it to fend the dogs off as well. A stick has a LOT more reach than a knife does. My Newest Cypress staff is just over 6ft tall and about 2 inches thick tapering down to about an inch and a half. AND being cypress it's not all that heavy.

But not as "sophisticated." LOL> It sounds like advanced chronic illness.
