Never messed witha windup light. Any good?

I know the windup lights are fairly cheap, but are they worth the $10 or $15 to buy one?

Yeah the one I have isn't bad. Two power levels, One led or 3. Wind it for 10 minutes and it's good for 30. Puts out a surprising amount of light considering the ocst and being a Chinese light. Still, like I said it uses a rechargeable battery. I plan on looking at capacitor ones one of these days. Don't know how long they will hold a charge but figure they won't go dead and be useless after a while like rechargeable batteries can.

I've had this one about 9 months now and took it out last month and it was still working. THAT impressed me.

Nope. it only has one power level. But it has momentary push button on and twist on. For five bucks and the same guts as a Fenix AAA, I got three.
