Two problems occur during the ordering process tonight. (Beside the three outtimes an the server crash)
First: I was forced to type in a state. Which state should an international customer choose? I just didnīt know how to get through so I typed in IN. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
Yeah, right now my pulse is quite normal and I know itīs INdiana. Tonight I guess this could be good choice for INternational. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
Second: Same with the telephone # . The format is different over here and I was forced to type something. So I choose to fill the gaps with 0. Correct?
I hope everything works <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" />
At least it was fun tonight. And it was night over here (+7 hours).

Already done - though itīs the "print and call" checkout for international customers.
I just want to know for future purchase. And I guess Iīm not the only one.
BTW Youīre right: Itīs funny what the brain does in the middle of a night under stress.

If you got the confirmation order in your email, you're fine!

For those of you who are residing oversea (not US or Canada), and are not sure what to enter during the checkout process...

Try entering this:
[color:"red"]First Name: Your first Name
[color:"red"]Middle Name:: Your middle Name
[color:"red"]Last Name: Your last name
[color:"red"]Address Line1:: Your address eg. Number, street, Surburb (or city), State ( or Province), Country (In my case, Australia).
[color:"red"]Address Line2: Nothing
[color:"red"]City: OO (O not zero)
[color:"red"]State: OH (Ohio or any other US state, except for TX as you have to pay taxes)
[color:"red"]Email: Your email address
[color:"red"]Telephone: fill it up with 0's (Zero)
[color:"red"]Postcode: 00000 (five zeros)

[color:"red"]Special instructions: I'm residing in (Your country of residence), and would like to pay via paypal. Please ship to: (Your name),
(Your full shipping address).
Please send the adjusted invoice to my Paypal account: (Your paypal account)

After this select "[color:"red"]Print & Call", You would be sent a order confirmation email with your invoice number and it should reserve the knives or whatever you have
ordered. Now all you do is wait for Patti to send you your Paypal invoice, and if she forgets just send her a gentle reminder (patti@scrapyardknives.com) with your invoice number.

Hope this helps! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Cheers,
Jack!

Thanks!

I took a few years of German but lost the structure to speak it as my best friend moved back to Germany years ago. His brother moved to Sacramento and his parents (dad from Erfurt) live in Colorado. He is I believe in Cologne now. His parents are German born and he and his brother are American born. I can understand but my speaking it can be botched up now. Writing it was also never a strong one for me.

I'd say give Patti at least a week! We're working her too hard!
I'd also like to take this moment and thank Patti for the service, and Dan for the knives!

I have an idea, let's make this thread sticky for all potential overseas buyers to see!
