All this talk of bags has me on the look out again. I went to a gunshow today and passed on an older Blackhawk 3 day pack. Nice size but no real external pockets or MOLLE strapping. I also did not like the green color. I have a Camelback ACU pack that has several pouches attached. I need something that is not so "Shoot me first". Know what I mean.

Drunk, bad thing is I DO understand the reason but I try not to get there because it is no fun. I hate to admit it but my family has some problems with attitudes and the drink at times.

Try a Kelty Redwing 3100. i saw one in the bargain bin for 79 the other day. I have one thats a few years old and blue thats a great pack. Internal frame and 3100 cubic inches is a healthy BOB or few day back packing setup. Fairly comfy to carry.

Funny thing is I passed 0n an X-treme pack at a flea mraket last summer, was brand new $50.00. Probably would have came out to around 2500-3000 cubes. But didn't think I needed anything that large. Sorta wish I had gotten it now. I could have used it but it would have been big for what I want.

I had a Keelty daypack and really liked it, but so did one of the dogs since they thought it was a chew toy. Was I pissed. What do you know about Northface stuff?
