Not too bad. In fact, the new 453 has a set trigger. I put a Brooks modification in my 452 and it is great. In fact, I caught myself looking at a 452/3 Lux the other day and a Trainer. IIRC, trainer is about 250+, the Lux a bit over 300, and the American (nicest finish of them all) is about 350ish. That is wholesale dealer. Could be a little off though as I had 375 H&H on the brain LOL. Yep, looking at a CZ for that too.

CZ makes some fine weapons. I'd love to own a couple of them.

Look at the Buckmark, they are nice, reliable, 10 rd mag, can be had with a front fiber optic sight, and has a good feeling rubber grip. I have never been a big fan of the Ruger semi pistols because of the pita that you deal with when reassembling. S&W makes some nice semis but the Model 41 is real pricy (get an older one) or the old 422 which has the brl on the underside of the slide (they have been out of production for a while). I don't care for the Walthers at all. If SIg would get their heads out of their rear, the Mosquito would be a nice piece.

I had a Sig Mosquito. Total piece of junk. Granted, it was one of the early ones, but still. I couldn't hit a piece of notebook paper at 25 ft. Not even ON the paper. I took it to the gunshow and sold it off, then bought my .17 HMR.

For a rifle I have never been much on the semi's even though I have torn down and fixed my share of Marlin Model 60's, and messed with a few Rugers. Do you own an AR? If you do get a drop in conversion and some mags. We were shooting one not too long ago and it was minute of animal at 50 yds.
