Haven't seen JJ around for a couple days, maybe he's out camping or playing with his new camera. At least I hope that's all it is. I made some chili Monday. Three cans (regular size) chili beans, a medium size onion, 2 pounds hamburger, three cans of tomato sauce and three cans (the small ones) of mushrooms, salt and pepper and chili powder. Bring to a boil then simmer for about an hour.

I usually start off by sauteing my onions and then put the hamburger in the same skillet to brown then throw it all in a pot to cook.

The General loves them, so we are real careful with our cooking. When a recipe calls for onions, we slice them large so that I can give mine to her. Works out pretty well. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
