I've been drooling over those pics a lot last night and today. Wishing I was going, and had the money to spend when I got there.

Ok, One and all, here's the Scuttlebutt.

The Doctor didn't find (and showed us the scans) any tumors on or in her Adrenal glands. That is the good news. The bad news is he said they could be somewhere else and wanted a CT scan of her chest and neck areas.

This morning she woke up at about 0330 with her throat starting to close up on her. She took two Benadryl (25mg each) and by 0630 she said it was time to go to the ER. Got there and they did the 20 questions and got her back in the room in about 5 minutes. Long story short, the gave her a half lit of saline IV drip, a SHOT of Benadryl and a steroid. Kept her there for about an hour when the doctor came back in, looked at her, talked to her (this isn't the first time it has happened)and we told her the Allergist is still trying to find the cause. He asked her if she felt she could leave at which she said YOU BET and we left. BUT luckily the additional CT scan we wanted could be done at that hospital. We called scheduling, they said to walk over to registration, we did, registered, waited about 10 minutes, walked back to radiology, got CT scanned and left.

The search continues. Basically we don't know anymore now than we did before we went to St.Louis, Barnes Jewish hospital except that she does NOT have tumors in the adrenals. He said that she is presenting all the classic symptoms of Pheochromocytoma and has NOT ruled it out yet.

Thanks Jeff. The Doctor said if the second CT scan is also negative there is one other test they can do to see if there are any tumors. About all I understand about it is that they inject her with a radioactive solution that adheres to tumors and then they use some type of fancy scanner that takes about 2-3 hours to complete.

Thanks to both of you guys. You know, I have said more about her problems here than even the folks around home here know about. I Just feel such a closeness to you guys and KNOW you all really do care. It's a nice feeling, and also a great stress reliever.

Randy, I know you have heard me say it before but the Yard is home to me and you guys are family. I don't care how many miles separate us, how our views of politics and such vary, but we all get along for a reason. I can't explain it, you guys have helped me through some rough spots. Think of all the prayers that we have going through this board for each other, thoughts, advice, etc..........just unbelievable.

Believe me, I know what you mean. My closest friends here don't know about my home troubles. But we've all been through so much together I feel like we're all family. Cheaper than a shrink LOL.
