I've been thinking about picking up a SAR 3 and sending it in for some Rams Horn handles (To match my SJ that I decided to keep)

Well I missed the "Worlds Largest Guns Show" last weekend due to the foot. So I was kinda thrown there. Then the meds I was put on for infection made me sick beyond all belief. Mon and tues I did good just getting home and in bed. Last night felt pretty good so I went and watched a movie at my brothers place.

Now let me tell you about the movie. It is called the 9th, IIRC. It is a Russian made movie from 2005, subtitled in Russian. The movie is about the hardships Soviet soldiers had to endure in Afghanistan at the end of 1988-89. It may be the best war film I have ever seen, graphic, the real deal. I grew up during the time of the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan in '79 and the pullout in 89. I remember reading SOF mags with articles about the war, I remember the Charlie Wilson escapades, the hot/cold war that was being waged. Even at a younger age I did not understand why people wanted Afghanistan. Oh well. Check the movie out, it was on Netflix.
