Sheriff here doesn't like 12s. To long a shift for a single person and can cause early burnout and mistakes. We DO have a separate jailer but he is behind several locked steel doors and down a level. We only see each other on the Surveillance system.

I'm not a fan of 12's, but I've kinda gotten used to them. I don't sleep well during the day anymore, so my nights off I sleep 10 hours, at least. Nights I work I sleep 4-5 hours a day.

Nite Sar. My shift is Tuesday night at midnight until 0800 Sunday morning. But I reckon I'll be on from home some tomorrow and into the evening.
