I hear you about the custom machete cost. I think he was getting 350 for an 18-20 inch model which I didn't think all that bad for a piece of steel that long.

Hey, I am a firm believer that the name isn't important as long as the quality is there!

By the way I have heard of collins and martindale machetes an tramontia too. I remember folks saying the collins are the best with martindale being pretty good as well.

Don't get me wrong... the custom ones are sure to be good quality.. but just taking them out into a swamp up to your nads ever day for months just loses the $$ appeal...

not my cup of tea. I dont get along with humidity

Steeley, TT, glad you guys could make it back to the party!

DocSavage is doing the cooking, but unfortunately he only has enough for his FIRST family. And he's having RIBS!

That would be a lot nicer, but you might get shocked when you started licking the screen and the drool fell down into the computer! You might get your hair curled for free though!

Hi boys, skunk have you seen the Esee lite machete. The blade I a common one tram... But the handles are micarta like on the Esee junglas. It looks nice if you have a use for a machete. I have one that's been on back order a while.

I've seen pic of it and read writeups. Wouldn't mind having one,but really don't have a use for one. I have a CS Machete Kuk that works fine for me, long as I remember to wear gloves. Man that hard plastic handle will tear up some skin FAST!
