Sorry, it is not a full flat grind. It is full width about a half inch or so down from the spine.

The first in my Avatar is a Ratweiler, the second a Desert Jack and the third is a Howling Rat...

I bought one from the last run of the 'Weilers... The Desert Jack was offered to me AT COST (maybe less) with a customer leather Dwayne Puckett sheath by a really neat guy from The Swamp!!!!!... The Howling Rat was also bought from the very last run of Res-C knives offered from The Swamp. The Howling Rat was bought for my wife and she loves it!!!

The Desert Jack is my all-time favorite knife that will be the one that they pry from my cold dead fingers!...

Oh yeah... I also have a Rat Shaker II...

[Linked Image from i63.photobucket.com]

It's the 1/4inch version... I wish I had found one in 3/16th though... It's still a great lil toothpick!!!

I'd like to see a little skeleton EDC from the Yard one of these days.

That would be nice! Let's see...

.
.
.
.
.

Blade Length: 2.75-3.25 inches (sharpened edge)
Blade Thickness: 0.150 inches (about 5/32th inch)
Blade Depth: 0.650-1.125 inches (depending on final design)
Blade Grind: Full/Near Full Convex to Final Edge
Blade Steel: Check the dumpster (but INFI is okay!)
Handle Length: 3.50-4.15 inches
Handle Material: fully skeletonized/hollow

What am I forgeting???

.....I'm thinking a Drop Point would be great on a "deeper" blade... Where as a strait spine might be nicer on a more slender blade design...

...In fact, the Game Warden and Skeleton Key are pretty well designed; and taking design queues from them would be a great place to start! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Your specs sound good to me! 5/32 or 3/16 would be nice.

Hello HS. You have been a member longer than I have. Sorry you missed out. I just missed the Dog Father, but got one from a scalper. Since then I have managed to score a Scrapper 6, two Dumpster Mutts, and a Yard Guard from SYKCO. Just check in once or twice a week, and you will get that DFLE. I want one, too.
The Yard Guard and Yard Hook only lasted about 72 hours before they sold out.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

INFI would be really good for that one!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> but I'm not picky. I just want a cool SY EDC!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" />
