I hope the dog heals and there is no permanent damage. At least it wasn't this cat that did it.

Indri, a clouded leopard, has passed on now, but he was a magnificent cat. All muscle and teeth. The canines were the size of tigers and he was only about a 45lb cat. They think they might have descended from sabretooths.

My neighbor has a dog that is the terror of the neighborhood. It is very aggressive to other dogs and squirrels. I had Pixie, the cat my ex-room mate abandoned, on a leash and was taking her for a walk in the yard. The dog ran up to us and Pixie puffed up to about twice her normal size and attacked the dog. Scared the crap out of the dog and it ran home and scratched at the door to be let in. Now when it sees Pixie come out it runs and hides. It's the funniest thing.

BTW - Pixie is the sweetest cat ever and loves every human she's ever met.

That is funny. I have seen a cat shred a dogs nose...we thought we were going to have to put the dog down. When a Cat gets upset...look out

That’s cool. I want one! Next best thing to getting a bobcat. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> Or are they a PITA to care for too and take a special permit? We have a Maine Coon (and 2 other cats) and he’s pretty big. He weighs about 20 lbs. I always liked larger cats.
