in califonia yea. When i purchased the lower i almost laughed when he asked me if i had a gun safe. Of course i just did a gun safe search on the net and memorized " Cannons- American eagale safe " and he bought it. Well im sure he new i was full of Sh** LOL.

So don't you also have to block off the magazine well with a contraction limit the mag from being removed? I moved away from Kali right when all of this nonsense started.

Its hard to tell. He was telling me he hates all the gun laws. Im sure he don't want to get in trouble tho i don't blame him .

Its suppose to but us clever californias found a loophole. I guess if the mag is pinned then its fine. If u make it so u use a "tool" to drop the mag then its fine its not considered detachable.

Ahhh... Good luck with the build and all that. Don't skimp on internals. Get quality parts from from BM or another first tier manufacturer.

I wont lol and thanks for all the great info and help. Man i would do anything to be able to have 30 round mags instead of those gay 10 round mag limit. Im thinking of moving to oregon next year.

Woohoo got my Rock River Arms lowers part kit today. Just wanted to know if i need the stock to start assembling it? Im very excited and want to get on it asap. If i need the stock then ill wait to friday when i get paid.
