Nice grips guys. I have Colobolo grips on my Kimber and standard wood on my Springer. My Springer needs some new skin for sure.

Not town.....afraid I would get shot on general principle of suspicion! But a matching holster set would be very nice!

Well, at least you could wear ‘em to gunshows. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

These grips just in from Yost-Bonitz - I ordered them Monday AFTERNOON, and they got here on Wednesday (Arizona to Montana) - they even had to do a cutout on the backside of the right grip for my ambi-safety. They fit like a glove too, and they're beautiful! Green Micarta, Diamond Cut. I've got a front tritium sight and magazine bumpers on the way, and then this thing is combat ready! Its got a Wilson Combat threaded guide rod, 18lb spring, shock buff, skeleton hammer, graphite trigger, ambidextrious safety, and badazz grips. This pistol has been in my family since I was a kid, and my dad passed it on to me to carry as a duty pistol - helluva gift huh! I got him that damascus custom blade w/ the mastadon ivory handle on it(that I posted pix of a few weeks back) to try and return the favor a little!

Nice grips, Diceman. Never thought of micarta for pistol grips, but it makes sense.

Jerry (Busse) was selling some snakeskin micarta grips a while back. And there was a colaboration between him and Les Baer for a matching knife and .45

Did you see this on the cover of Gun World. Very Cool? Jerry is the only knife company to have gun. All others, are gun makers with a knife.

I would love to have one of these sets but even I don't think I can get that much JW Blue into him to pull it off. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

Vance - my gunsmith told me that the graphite trigger thats on it was ideal for duty use. I thought the same thing - I was going to go w/ a skeleton trigger just for looks, but I think I'm going to hold off for now - unless you know of a specific trigger that I should look in to. ?

i use the videcki medium trigger..

i like it alot

but i have small hands

Some ResC 1911 grips would be interesting. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Vance - nice looking 1911! I'll probably see if I can shoot some of the other guy's pistols and see what triggers work best for me. I like this trigger, but its the only 1911 I've ever had. Definately a big switch from the Glock. I find myself jerking the trigger, since I'm so used to that long even pull on the glock. Thanks for the suggestion too.

I really do like the point and click simplicity of Glock.
