plus if i bang it around..its not a custom 1100 dollar kimber I like the "used" look. My colt has quite a few little scratches on it. Its also got some nasty marks from when I was a kid trying to put it together - I didn't know how to get the takedown lever back in, so I screwed up the finish just underneath of it. Its kind of funny now - 15 or so years later, to see those same marks that I put on it as a kid. I'm sure my dad was pissed then, but it reminds me of how far I've come in life! My dad has his dad's .357 mag (they both carried it as cops). My dad dropped it a few years ago and put a knick in the backstrap of the grip - he was so pissed! Its such a pretty gun though. Pretty cool history with that one too. As I just mentioned, my grandpa carried it as a Columbus (Ohio) PD officer - and he died when my dad was 12 years old. Then, when my dad was of age, HE carried it as a CPD officer, long after his father had passed. Aaanyways, thats enough sentimentalism for now!

SJ - It is a S&W - Model 27 I believe - probably late 40's to early 50's. Its really, really nice. Pristine! Just that one knick on the backstrap!

Did you see this on the cover of Gun World. Very Cool? Jerry is the only knife company to have gun. All others, are gun makers with a knife. Yeah, I saw that at Walmart, and then stood there and read the article. They talked more about the gun than the knife though. Are you gonna make some ResC grips for us too? Ohhhh…yes. That would be cool. Do it Dan! Do it! How much wood could a wood chuck chuck if a wood chuck could chuck wood? He could cut a quarter of a cord of conifer, if you gave him a quarter for every cord he cut.
