one year i thought i would be clever, i brought 3 or 4 dozen crayfish back home and released them in the creek in our back yard.
our geese had them all ate in about 10 minutes

where i grew up there was a stream full of crawdads, used to get a few potfulls every summer Pot fulls don't cut it where I'm from. ![[Linked Image from i1008.photobucket.com]](http://i1008.photobucket.com/albums/af208/mediaperture/6373_1192479135166_1324029288_30514435_5232215_n.jpg) That is from the last time I visited my sister and brother-in-law (pictured) We boiled more than 100 pounds that day. That is the first batch of the day. I usually wait for the third batch or so before really tearing into them so the spice really gets built up.

When I was in the Aleutians (Shemya) we had a crab vessel give us 55 pounds of King Crab Legs! Talk about good!
