JJ, do y'all purge yours first, I mean Hold them in clean water for a day or two before you cook them? We do purge them, but not for a day. We put them in a large cooler filled with extremely salty water for about 3 hours. That gives them the runs and flushes them pretty fast. We use crab boil sometimes throw in some cayenne and throw in little red taters, corn and onions. We actually boil the crawfish with crabs sometimes. Same same.
