I'm a happy camper, well happier anyway.
Was at Wally world today picking up my meds and just on a lark started looking around and found some Quick Clot sponges! Picked up a couple, one for my BOB and another for my "Walk about" Murse.
One more item I can check off the list.

Oh and I have been thinking about something.
A tourniquet. How do you guys thing one made this way would work.
Take a piece of material of some sort, about an inch to an inch and a half wide. From one end, about 3-4 inches back sew in TWO D rings. Make the whole thing maybe 2-3 ft long.
To use, wrap it around the limb, thread the long end through the D rings and pull tight. Do you think that would work out?
Light weight, easy and small to store.

I know a lot of folks don't like them. BUT when they are the only Nightclub in town, you either go there for the music or stay at home.

Light weight, easy and small to store. I use surgical tubing. doubles as slingshot ingredient. sounds like it would work with some 1" nylon. can pinch the skin at the rings though. Guess if a tourniquet is needed, the pinching is least of worries.
