Best bet is to work off anything that doesnt cost the buyer anything. But do that stuff last because it really doesn't matter to the seller here or there. Stuff like sending the PP as gift and keeping the payment. Only do this if you are sure of the buyer because you can get all the way screwed. Also in my mind shipping should always be part of the price. PP fees should always be part of the cost of doing business. Anybody who talks like it is the buyers responsibility to pay will not get my money. I will gladly tell somebody I'll take that nice if your price is shipped and PP'd. They can send back whatever but that's always going to be the deal with me. Don't make me have to use math!!!

As far as getting the price down. It may simply may not happen. You should decide what the knife is worth. Or I guess you can hope that a person really means OBO (not always the. case). I make a point to say that I will not reply to offers. I will reply but my story is the same. If you have the money then let's deal. If not I'll consider your absolute best offer but don't hold your breath.

Since I would buy any guy a beer or a meal I usually won't haggle for $10 here or there but since $10 is worth 10 words I'll make it be known that if you actually have the $10 you'd simply be screwing me out of $10 just to say you did it. Thanks Lazi, yeah I agree that nickel and diming a seller just for the sake of doing it is a low way of going.

Lazi, if I gave the impression I was holding steady at the 10.00 off I didn't mean for it to come out that way, or if I said it that way. I MEANT could offer 10 less and if the seller said no, no problem, pay the 10 bucks. I probably stayed over seas to many years, haggling is the way in the places I was. Guess I got TO used to it.

In countries like Turkey and Egypte it's totally normal to haggle. They sometimes even feel humiliated if you don't. That would be a sign of the buyer thinking of the seller being poor! Rich folk being disrespectful of the poor man...
I think a little haggle is ok, witin limits of a reasonable price!

Neus, I know that a part of the Netherlands are below sea level, but do you know approximately how much of your country is that low?

There are rumors that more than half is below sea level but that's not true! Only 20% is below sea level. The Netherlands were created out of dried up parts of the Northsea. Those parts dried up because of the sea level dropping. Only in the 19e century they invented the technic to create dykes in semi dry parts of the Northsea, keep seawater out and use that land to farm on! Most of the land is created by the sealevel dropping...

Yeah had heard that a large portion was below sea level but it just didn't make that much sense to me. Your country is fairly flat though isn't it?
