Wow ,I Just placed my order on Saturday and the Guard already arrived today. I now have 2 SYKCO blades a Yard Guard and a Scrapper 6 and hopefully alot more to come. I missed out on the Mutts and the DF but I'm not gonna let that happen again.
So anyone else get their Guards or Hooks today if so let's see those pix. I Will post pix as soon as I get home tonight.

Glad to hear that your blades showed up so quick Dom! What do you think of it & what are your first impressions.
I still haven't received my Dumpster Mutts & am starting to get worried. I sent Patti an email to see if she can track down the tracking numbers.

This is the first recurve blade that I've had and I really like the design. I think it would make a decent little chopper too.

I'm sure my order is still sitting at the local post office. We have a carrier that I have been unable to identify that just marks the parcels with "notice left" and doesn't bother trying to deliver them. I've already sent a request to Patti for the tracking number.

The Yard Guard fits in my RD7 sheath. I could make the Yard Hook fit with a small mod.

I have a spare RD6 sheath waiting for my Hook - what do you need to mod so that it works? My Guard fit fine in my RD6 sheath, only minor problem was that the plastic insert inside the sheath was closed up a little too tight for the Guard and wanted to come out of the sheath when I drew the knife. I used a little hot glue and glued the insert inside the sheath and now it's fine.

I have a spare RD6 sheath waiting for my Hook - what do you need to mod so that it works? The hook makes the blade wider than the plastic insert. A notch could be cut on one of the narrow edges that would allow the hook to pass further down.
