We were in the 90's here again today for about the 9th straight day. I'm so thankful for A/C

I grew up in a brick house with no a/c and no shade trees, it was miserable during the summer. I'd lay in the bed and sweat. I swore that I'd never do that once I got my own place, and I've lived up to that, much to the chagrin of my wife.

Yup, A/C is one of the greatest inventions ever!

I remember those days of no ac. Just a window fan. Was kind of neat at night though, blowing that cool (cooler) air across the bed.

I watch her pretty close (drives her nuts) but it's better than her flaking out on me. When she starts getting a little red faced and pale... I make her get cooled down.
