Only can do so much...but im hoping there's a b-day present to self out there for me. if not, oh well...
but I have some work I need to get back to. looks like a long weekend researching a bunch. I may make some reggaeton instrumentals at some point this weekend as well. jack of all trades...

Ah nothing really. I am just contemplating getting rid of some blades to fund buying more blades. Is that the definition of insanity!

Yeah, I've been thinking of getting rid of my DF and SOD. Just never use them. I'm focusing more on smaller blades, but I hate to get rid of possibly the two best blades to ever come out of the Yard.

But as sure as I get rid of the DF, I'd have to buy a 911. Not sure what the difference is, but they'd be awfully close.

My reasoning. I actually don't need the size of the DF. To me it is more for those that actually do get out in "The wild" and will be using it instead of a hatchet, something else I don't do.
For me the lighter (albeit shorter) 911 will work just as well as the more robust DF. I have a SOD and have no intentions of getting rid of it, as to me it's a bruiser that will work as in in between blade from the HACK WD/S5 length/size and the 911.
So now my Bussekin blade lineup consists of:
DF
SOD
MilReg
WD HACK (in a couple days)
WarDog
S5
Weiner Dog
Muppy
Swamp Warden
Cupidvore
So My blade lineup will probably ultimately consist of: (At least for a while)
911
SOD
MilReg
WD HACK
S5
Muppy
Swamp Warden
Cupidvore
If I do wind up getting rid of some of them.

I was talking to Tom on the phone the other day and he said that the 911 is really sweet. 9 inch (maybe just a tad over?) blade, thinner and lighter than the DF. MOST folks, INCLUDING me don't really need the DF. To me it's for those that really do get out there.

My biggest problem is that I like to collect them. Not as big on using them. So I hate to turn loose of any, but on the other hand if I'm not gonna use 'em......
