Check out this thread. Its a pretty neat and simple looking tutorial for a sweet looking Junglas. Makes me wanna pick up an Esee 5 to try it on!

Crap, that looks sharp. I love the work he did on it. That is some very nice eye candy.
I know makes me think I should try and blue my scrapivore. Its had some rust issues since I stripped it . Sr-101 is awesome but it cant sit long without being oiled.

Today my buddy brought his Mosin Nagant over and we shot that while we supervised my younger brother and his dads GF's son shooting .22's. We were sitting at a picnic table shooting first. I wont do that any more I dont think. That metal butt plate doesn't help with much of the force haha.

Nagants were not meant tpo be shot of the bench-----I know, not a lot of help now LOL. You want one, don't you!

I had a couple of Nagant's some years ago. The ammo was very cheap and just a fun shooter. I hope you get much enjoyment out of it.

Haha. The thing was horridly inaccurate. Those old old sights probably werent helping. And I wont act like I know much about guns I am hardly breaking the surface with knives, guns are a whole other category. The Nagant is fun if you just like to watch it punch through things. Wasn't it more of a gun ment for sporadic firing?

I need to buy a 308. Or something. I would like to start doing long distance target shooting.

So how was your fireworks this evening. Ours was well, non-existant due to the burn ban. On the way home from the cook out the skies got dark and a few rain drops. Sure would be nice to have some serios rain tonight so the kids (all ages) can shoot some tomorrow.

I am going over to a bud's house in the morning. He is buying my DFLE and I am taking the newly acquired grinder and belts over and see what kind of damage we can do on a couple cheap bowies, a British military golok, and some old kitchen knives I have. We will see. Sure will be nice if I can get the hang of it so I don't have to do anymore sandpaper or send them out. Afternoon we are heading to an uncle's place for a cookout. Good thing about it tomorrow is I will have some cold beer. Tonight it was a dry cookout due to all the church people around. Oh well, that is life LOL.

OK now we're talking, I shoot 223 across the course meaning I start at 200 then move back to 300 and finally prone at 600 yards.

My 223 is an Armalite AR15 setup for service rifle match shooting.
