Pretty similar to my "Marriage". I was gone for a year and I stayed celebate, it was difficult, but that is what you do if you are married. She didn't. Ok, I forgave her. BUT once I got back I found out a year later she was STILL not being exclusive. And wonder of wonders, she did NOT want custody of HER son in the divorce!
11 years later I Married Patty (after I retired). Oh my first wife gave away her rights to my pension! GOOD FOR ME!!!!!

oh, and Subic Bay, been there many times. But there was still a U.S. presence in that country then, not sure about now. MIGHT make a BIG difference.

Jeff, I think part of it was "what do you mean why can't I marry an american" type thing, in other words rebellion! Yeah they were right, but my situation is not the same for everyone. I wish your buddy all the success and happiness in the world.

Forgot the second part of your question Jeff. Patty's doing a bit better. She still shakes some but NOTHING like she was. Changing her meds and when she takes certain ones, well something has helped some. Now if we can keep her this way,or even hopefully better, that will be nice. Thanks for asking.
