We've had it happen around here Tom, AND a mule as well! He thought the Cow was a spotted freak of nature and the Mule, why of course it was one of them thar antlerless deer!

I hear ya, Randy...they're not cheap. 1/4" may not be much at 100 yds, but it really starts growing at 500+. This one took a lot of saving for and dedication to spec out. It was worth it...and god willing, my kids will have it after I'm gone.

If I had a rifle like that around here, IF I could find some place to shoot it at any kind of distance, I would be shooting alone most all the time. Folks around here just go "shooting" during hunting season.
