The Meaner Street was $227 for a 4"ish crinkle finish blade. The Mini-SS blade is a bit more complex so I would guess that it would be offered between $227 to $237 in a crinkle blade finish. Fancy handles will naturally be extra.
Disclaimer: this is an absolutely seat-of-the-pants SWAG. Karnack won't help me tonite because I've been drinking beer. I'll still take your best judgement as gospel - I'm generally way off!

Yeah, I picked up on that. I still say it is a sax. Sometimes spelled seax. That is an old Norse design, slightly modified with the curved edge. They were made in all sizes.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

It might make a better pickle slicer than your Speed Bump The thing I was amazed at was the BC has been making this knife design for FOUR years. It makes me wonder what other cool stuff is hidden away in that Wauseon stronghold. And I'll bet Dan knows and he ain't talkin'.

It makes me wonder at what interesting stuff Dan may have walked out of the shop with thinking it was supplies... Let me know if you need a safe place to stash them Dan!

It would appear that Busse Combat and Scrapyard have been in close contact with our military and possibly some "contractors" in their knife designs and development. Probably not at the procurement levels, but at the operator level. The Dumpster Mutt and the new SS have miltary applicaions. It is, after all, Busse COMBAT knife.

I'm still in the air over the SS. Its really going to come down to the price. It would be a great duty knife as far as seat belt cutting and the like. A little safer than stabbing someone in the chest w/ the DM while cutting them out after a car wreck

Less "blunt force trauma" if it slices right in their chest huh? Won't leave a bruise...

I have the Gerber LMF 2. It came with a belt cutter in a separate pouch. I keep it in my Jeep. You could buy a lot of those for the price of the Busse SS. I would not buy one just for that. The SS might make a good EDC. It is the right size. Now that I have my sheath for the DM, and have carried it some, I have decided that I like the HRLM better than the DM for EDC. But I don't plan on prying open any doors in Iraq, either. Nice to have options.
