There was a lot of variety, for sure. Here is one copied from one in the British Museum from around 750 AD. It looks a little more like the SS, only much larger.

The more I see it, the more I like it, now that I am over the initial shock. Maybe I have been INFIected with a strange virus that damages the brain and causes compulsive Busse Buying.

Oh noes! INFItis...there's no known cure. And the treatment is very expensive! I've heard that treated INFItis victims live a normal lifetime and are exceptionally happy people though.

It is a very rugged knife. It holds a good edge, has a comfortable handle, and has the most versatile and best sheaths around. I have even done some light chopping with it. The sheath has a bulit-in sharpener that works well. It was developed over a two year period with the military. I think it is a first class survival knife. I have batoned with it, too.

The SS would be great for those romantic evenings when you just don't have the time or patience for finding the hook on a bra. It would work on evening gowns and halter tops, too. I am beginning to see the wisdom of this design. I think I would go with black leather to sheath this knife.

it's okay. maybe when i see the full size model. where'd you get <$200? cept for some wardens, infi's almost never that cheap. did i miss somethin?

Jerry actually said it would be cheap. The Badger was $227 for the basic CG.

Jerry also stated it was a model that they have been producing for 4 years or so. That means the production setup is already there, no cnc programming and no designing needed! The logo on the new model is actually the old logo which could point at a potential stockpile of blanks from the ongoing production. The short run time could also point in that direction.

The last and most important point? I hope it is around the $200 mark or less is so I can snag one or two. Plus it gives PoP a shot at a Busse blade! The timing is pretty much perfect!
