I've never owned one...but I'm very mechanical by nature. I was turned on to "The Art of Zen, and Motorcycle Maintenance" when I was younger....loved that book. I try to go back and browse through it occasionally, as I find a certain "calm" when I engage in using my hands to build / fix / make something. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Serious, though I DID ride on my brother's bike years ago. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> Traveled home for a funeral couple years back. One of my cousins had a big bike...some kind of harley or something. Anyhow...my dad hopped on it, and cruised around the parking lot. I have not seen him smile that wide in a long long time....he looked at peace with the world. Come to find out...he used to have a bike when he was in his 20's. He had never told me before that day!
